FACILITIES & VENUE HIRE – Holford Drive Community Sports Hub

INDOOR

The Studio – This purpose designed fitness facility is a flexible space that can be used for fitness, for 16 people or for parties or meetings, alone or as part of the social suite.
Pauline Hurd Room – Named after our outstanding community advocate, Pauline Hurd who sadly died in 2012 before seeing the HUB completed, this room can be used for a range of purposes from social functions, training events, or coaching courses to promotional events and parties. It has a substantial outdoor balcony with view over the outdoor sports facilities. The room also has a kitchen and purpose built occasional bar. Part of our social suite.
Board Room – Holds 30 people (theatre style) and can be hired for meetings or used as part of the social suite.
Boxing Gym – The HUB boasts a dedicated boxing gym that is one of the best in the Midlands if not the country. It is home to Aston ABC Boxing Club, which uses the facility extensively, several times every day. Due to the specialist nature of the facility all requests for usage or hire must be made through the Club.
Changing rooms – The HUB has 6 purpose built team changing rooms with showers and toilet facilities, along with 3 officials’ changing rooms making it the ideal venue for sports fixtures. There are 150 coin return lockers in the changing room corridor for players to store belongings.

Tennis Courts – 4 purpose built, floodlit tennis courts. Court hire is available via Holford Drive Community Tennis Club
Football pitches – There are two adult and two youth pitches and also mini soccer and samba football facilities as well as training areas. The pitches are all used by our HUB club Continental Star FC who organise football camps and coaching courses. Subject to availability and capacity some pitches can be hired out e.g. for other matches, cup finals and company sports days.
Cricket – The HUB boasts a brand new (laid in 2012) cricket table with 5 pitches.
